ARTIST STATEMENT
"Here Rest Butterflies" is an artful examination of our collective memories, and how the past informs our current life experiences. UNTIL... we let go.
I began writing ‘Here Rest Butterflies’ as a way to channel some of the confusion and hurt I was feeling at the time. It has evolved into a container for self-inquiry and creative expression. Through this film, I hope to offer insight and understanding to those battling ghosts from their pasts, and those ready for a new story.
